My Healing Journey From Mormon Ritual Abuse To Freedom

About My Blog June 1, 2012

Comic of Bad RobotWelcome to my personal blog, Cherish Freedom! This is my first experience blogging and I am teaching myself so it might take me awhile to get the hang of it but I am really excited about the chance to get my ideas out there and hopefully be able to connect with others.

I am a survivor of lifelong abuse of many different kinds and from many different people. I will be writing about my abuse throughout my blog, and also about the difficulties and triumphs of my healing journey. I hope that other women and girls who have also experienced abuse will find and read my blog and be able to relate and connect with me through this blog. I also hope to educate people who are interested in learning about some of the effects of the abuse, and how difficult escaping and healing from abuse can be.

I was also raised within the mormon religion and that was extremely damaging to me for many different reasons and in many different ways. I will be writing about my own experiences of abuse within the mormon church and how I was finally able to leave mormonism and become an “ex-mormon”.

Thank you for visiting my blog, it really means a lot to me! Please share the link with anyone you think might be interested or benefit from reading it. I am honoured that people read my words…
